Nc Ks. | I haven't taken it out yet. You could be right. Has some thick metal wrapped looking line going from sending unit to gage. I don't ever remember that gage working from the day Dad bought that tractor in 1968. Had to tear it apart to replace generator and water pump belt, thought I'd try to fix it while I had it exposed. Neat way they tightened the water pump belt in those days. Figured that thing would be tighter than cake, but backed off the locking screw and tapped on it with a hammer and it screwed right off.
