Have a '11 planter with set point air down force. I cannot get the compressor to operate. I have changed the relay on the tongue, as well as 40 amp fuse on battery cable., didn't help. This code comes up: pm2 521939.13, down pressure sensor calibration fail. Anyone have any clues as to what is causing this?

Have you calibrated the down force sensors?

yes down force sensors calibrate fine. the air pdf will not. to get going planting, I unhooked cable from compressor on rear of planter so it stopped bringing up alarm page. I've just been manual filling bags to 30 psi to plant. Works fine, but would like to know what is going on. I'm thinking bad air pressure sensor or small compressor on hitch is shot.

The code posted was a df sensor 0 cal error, that's why I asked.
Does the df shown on the run page correspond with the equivalent of 30 psi bag pressure? (ie approx. 100 lbs).

No stays at 0, and the compressor doesn't kick on. The downforce sensors are working like normal. But when I try to adjust set point, just says sensor failure.

Worked great last year, this year I had happen right away. I was hoping it was simply the relay or fuse, but that does not seem to be the case.

Did you have the software updated this spring?

That may or may not have any influence on the situation, but it sounds like your air bag pressure sensor is bad. That sensor should be seeing the pressure you see at the Schrader valve (30 psi) and converting it to down force to be displayed on the screen.

When you drain the bags and tank and attempt to calibrate the pdf sensor, what happens?

I drained bags and tried to calibrate to start the year, alarm came up that it failed? I am hoping that it is just a bad sensor. I sure hate calling mother deere for service call, I like to fix things myself.

software update, no...the planter software is same as last year.

as this point that is the direction I'm heading in, a new pdf air pressure sensor. anyone got a part number on that?
