Yes, I believe that will work out fine for you. Sometimes we get carried away and try to become too precise.

I thought more about the idea of using half rate tips on the ends. I don't think I would bother for a couple of reasons.

First I have not seen any problems with this doubling. Since I am following the planter, if the guess row got a little wide, it might be desirable to have the extra width to get complete coverage.

From a purist standpoint, using a half rate tip on the end would a first seem like the perfect solution because then each outer end would get half rate from this pass and the other half from the next pass. This would be true for the outer half of these outer tips, but what about the inner half of the outer tips? Wouldn't the inner half of the outer tips then only be getting a half rate, well maybe not.

Anyway I'm getting myself confused so I'll leave it at that.
