Subject: Re: Deere 2600 display compatibility

Central Iowa
Any ISO compliant "virtual implement" can publish its application to a GS2. The only connection is through the tractor's implement CAN bus. This is why the planter "screens" show up on the GS2.

Application to application communication between different companies is another story, for example your AgLeader performance kit to the GS2's field recording software is not governed by any standard so it probably won't work. In the future as the ISO standards get more developed this sort of plug and play will be supported but its going to take awhile.
