Subject: Anybody have autosteer trouble today?

NE SD

Guys around us have been having trouble for the last several days with their Deere (haven't even talked to any other farmers) autosteer systems losing satellites and being innacurate. This coupled with the garbage software Deere has written for the ATU is giving both my uncle, cousin, and a neighbor headaches.

On Friday my cousin had trouble with his integrated on 8530 while I was a mile away with integrated and had no problems.

Today I was going south at I suppose 3:30 or so and the tractor started tossing so hard side to side (4wd 9400 w/ integrated) that it was hard to stay sitting in the seat. It had been doing it lightly going north so I know it wasn't just created by dust causing signal loss. I called AMS person and reported that PDOP was up to 3.5-3.8 and had been down in the 1.0-2.0 range earlier and I was only running on 5 satellites. All this time the same cousin with 8530 was running 1/4 mile from me and having no problems.

Anyone else been having problems?
