Subject: RE: striptill question

Ilderton, Ontario
Gerard,

It is a longish story, but we are currently using a redball strip tiller. The distribution of these rigs is now taken on by Wilrich (the unit will be mounted on a wilrich frame).

We have tried and looked at many models, but for our purposes we settled on the redball. We went with a shank style because we wanted to have a tool aggressive enough that we didn't need to dress up the strips again in the spring (streamlining our spring operation was a goal).

We worked with our local soil and crop club over the past and used the data from it to work towards our decision.

It is hard to find local information, or local manufacturers. It seems that most of the technology isn't coming from the BIG players. So when you ask your Deere/Case dealer they have no clue. You need to go to the states to see anything. It is also technology that the short lines are specializing in. If you are able, the Farm show in Louisville would be my first choice for exposure to these tools.

We are not too far from you. Feel free to drop in sometime
