| When you say that you are seeing 4 to 5 inches is that on the screen, or on the ground. What you see on the screen should be small as the steering system tries to stay on the computed DGPS line. I might call that control accuracy. If the system is calibrated correctly and the steering system is solid that should be a small number. What you see on the ground puts in GPS drift and will generally be larger than the number shown on the display. The only way to determine this error is to get out of the tractor and measure the error on the ground. The number of visible satellites & DOP factor into this.
