| Just an update here. If you have the heavy duty Cat 4 3 point you cannot purchase the "ball" that the pin goes thru as the collar holding it in is pressed in by Deere and is unserviceable sure would have been nice if the parts guy would have known what he was talking about instead of telling us yep got the part numbers pulled up and will order them only to have the ones for the smaller one ordered.
So to make a long story short ended up replacing the arms 1600 bucks each because we had cut them apart with the torch but anyways after installing new arms the 3 point does go up and down just like a new tractor but I guess they should for 3200 bucks right.
So if anyone as a tractor with the heavy duty 3 point that has not gotten used a lot check to make sure they are not rusting together, I think it is only a problem on the HD one because of the way dirt can lay in there because of the switchable hook setup. | |
