I have always been told to stay with at least a 200a welders, and if it were me I would spend the money on either Lincoln or Miller. I have had good experiences with Lincoln welders but plenty of guys are Miller fans. I think in the long run you would be happier to go with a good welder than something from a "off brand" company. Just a thought.

The downsides of a good 200+ amp welder is price and weight, if it never leaves the shop weight won't be a issue...
