SE Iowa
Looking to put steering on a mid 90s ford floater truck currently have a cruizer in it think its a 2 I would be willing to upgrade to an envisio. Can the smartrax attach to steering wheel? Talked to salesman briefly he said as long as it has a 3 spoke steering wheel it will work, but after looking on ravens web site (which doesn't give much help) I'm not sure now. Otherwise what is a good system to run that will handle higher speeds?

most likely it would,  I don't know what the number of spokes a wheel, has got anything to do with it fitting or not.       basically how it works is that there is a adapter that installs between the steering wheel shaft, and steering wheel, the gear plate fastens to this adapter. so basically you are concerned with shaft diameter and number of splines, also there may be some steering column clearance considerations.

Yeah, I'm sure that the salesman was thinking SmartSteer rather than MD. If you know the shaft diameter and the number of teeth on the spline, there should be one that would work. I see the following spline types available:

P/N 063-4001-014 5/8" (16mm) 36 tooth
P/N 063-4001-015 7/8" (22mm) 36 tooth
P/N 063-4001-022 3/4" (20mm) 36 tooth
P/N 063-4001-024 7/8" (22mm) 36 tooth, Long
P/N 063-4001-025 11/16" 36 tooth

Here are the different spline adapter sizes Raven offers for the Smartrax MD as of last summer.

Spline Adapter, 5/8" (16mm) 36 Tooth
Spline Adapter, 7/8" (22mm) 36 Tooth
Spline Adapter, 3/4" (20mm) 36 Tooth
Spline Adapter, 7/8" (22mm) 36 Tooth, Long
Spline Adapter, 11/16" 36 Tooth

The three I have move the steering wheel closer about 3".

As long as you aren't doing variable rate spreading the Cruizer II should work. Raven may be willing to fabricate an anti-rotation bracket for you.
