Subject: Re: Camera on grain cart

Leesburg, Ohio
Definately would want to see into the semi the cart is loading...that's what the cart operator is responsible for. No need to see in to the cart...that's the combine operator's responsibility...all the cart driver has to do is match the speed of the combine to begin with, and stay on the assigned row.

I would also really like to put a camera/monitor on the cart, as well as be able to use it on a semi when loading out of bins in the winter. I bought a cheapie from Northern Tool...$107 or so. Didn't work at all right out of the box, unless you put the monitor on its side. Northern customer service acknowledged the problem right away, but then gave me the run around for three months before I finally got them to refund my money by having to threaten to take them to small claims court.

I've seen a really nice looking outfit at agcam.com, but its pricey. Any other sources out there?
