| According to the WASDE http://www.usda.gov/oce/commodity/wasde/latest.pdf China exported 5.27 mmt's last year and is still (barely) projected to be a net exporter of corn this year. Of course that could change. Supplies of Feed Wheat are expected to increase this year (one reason for the switch to US corn..) and most suspect that the gradual boom in US exports will ease (somewhat... depending on what China does of course..) and there still should be plenty for everyone.
We do need to get this crop planted though and a good yield would help.. Corn prices could see some fireworks by the 4th of July though on a weather scare... | |
