North Central IN | +1. Any model lens made from the late 1960's will fit a camera off the line today. IIRC Nikon was the only manufacturer that didn't change the lens mount when they went from manual focus to auto focus. Now, putting that old lens on a new camera won't make it work like a new lens, i.e. Some features may be unavailable.
Have lots of $$ tied up in Nikon glass, both manual and autofocus. They all work on my newer D200 body. Come to think of it, shoulda put a new D700 on my Christmas list! | |
