You need to do what works for you. Advice on getting a full size semi, bigger culverts sounds good but is it really practical? Wasnt here. Now we have two single axle semis and two 24' trailers. Haul 550-600 bu corn and get them in and out of any place a single axle straight truck goes.

Power? 210-230 hp works with the 9 spd, will be really short with auto. Id want 300 hp min with auto.

28' tandem trailer may work, 22-24' single better match.

We dont regret what we did. Combine around 900 acres per year here and about 2/3 is corn.

Good luck!
