M | What would your gross weight be? Up to around 5200 0# you would be ok if it had the right gears in it. The 466 runs faster than most other engines so the gears would be different . Mine was greaed low nothing stopped it in the field , top end would be about 62. Ask a new truck salesman what gears are good for your use. They should be able to run the vin to see what it has. Or take it out on the road and see what top end is . The higher top end is the poorer it will be in the field.
