Subject: JD 1210a grain carts

So. IL
Thinking about buying a used John Deere 1210a grain cart.

Planning to park it at the end of the field and use it as a dump wagon to keep the combine running instead of waiting for the truck to return from the elevator. We're only five miles from the elevator and use one single axle, two ton truck to haul grain away from the combine. This truck can haul about 350 bushel. It is rare for the combine to have to wait on the truck when running soybeans, but in a brief wait occurs at times in wheat and waiting is common when combining corn.

Did Deere make a 1210 and a 1210a grain cart? What is the primary difference?

Did the 1210a cart have any problem areas?

What to look for when buying a grain cart?

Any opinions, thoughts or comments?
