Subject: That time it rained 40 days and 40 nights..?

Blvd d'Espair Bowhill, Sth Aust
that time it rained 40 days and 40 nights... ? we only got 2/10 inch..

Actually, as strange as it may sound to anyone who knows my area, i have to acknowledge that compared to many in Sthn Australia we have been favoured with rain. ( so far ). I have an annual average of a snick over 11 inches.. or as we measure it 280 mm. That average is taken over some 72 years.
April was good, a bit above average, but May and June totalled an inch together
July was OK at about an inch and a quarter, but Aug and September are the times when it get serious as we move into longer, warmer days, and the crops actually start to grow.
Right at the moment I can't complain for my area personally, but theres plenty of guys all over that are hurting pretty bad, and that could easily be my lot yet according to the long range forecasters..

Thanks for your interest.
