I had the same thing happen on a year old 500 right after I updated to 3.0 they say it is a hardware issue but I am worried that with some of the earlyest hardware versions of the 500 the 3.0 firmware might make a Harware problem show up quicker. I have had trouble with 2 one year old 500's after the 3.0 update. Or I might just have been having a bad day.
