| Your manual steering should operate just as it did before you plumbed in your hydraulic valve. Make sure that all your hose connections are correct. It sounds like the pilot to shift valve is not sending a signal to the steering priority valve to tell it you want pressure during manual steering. That's what the pilot to shift valve does - sends steering signal to the priority valve based on which system is operating (manual or auto). There is alot of hoses to run and it's easy to make a mistake on connections. And then theres the cartridges to swap and the beginning of the hyraulic valve instructions to double check also. The only issues on the tractor hydraulics is making sure regulated pressure and low pressure standby are at the high end of specs. But those pressures should not effect manual steering. | |
