| I am using dcm-300 modem with fmx1000 to get a rtk signal. Works fine using the cellular signal. I am also able to get the rtk siganl using wifi without the cell signal. It will connect fine with my home wirelss router. I have also been able to set up my cellphone as and access point and the dcm300 will alos connect to it. My plan was to use a portable wireless hotspot from Straight talk and us it on pay as you go plan. When I have the hotspoton on, I can connect with my Ipad and phones on wifi. When I try to connect to fmx 1000 I go to the office sync tab then to setup and then to the wifi tab. My hotspot is in the list of available networks. I high light it and press join. It says it is configured but when I go to another menu and come back the hotspot is not connected.
