Subject: Re: Creating Boundaries question....again

Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn.
The Ag Leader Insight has the ability to create outer and inner boundaries. The outer boundaries define the outside of the field.

Inner boundaries can be created for areas within the field where application is not desired. These "islands" are typically waterways.

When Autoswath is active, booms are shutoff when they are outside an outer boundary or inside an inner boundary.

This would allow the operator to drive through a waterway and the boom sections would shutoff while passing through the waterway and then come back on once the vehicle passed through the waterway to the other side.

Many Autoswath systems do not have a boundary feature meaning that the operator must interact by using the boom switches within waterways and also at the headlands if there is any chance that a boom section might pass outside of the field. To my knowledge, the Insight is one of the few (possibly only) system to allow inner boundaries.
