Subject: Seed Command

Looking for some advice on a seed command setup. I am finishing up installing our seed command on our Kinze 24 row 20 inch planter. Our original thought was to set it up on 4 row sections and have 80 inch sections. Once the system came I realized I can set it up on 3 row sections therefore 60 inches. We farm in western Iowa and have some pretty steep hills that can affect actual working width in the insight when it is a non tilt compensated signal. This tractor does not have auto steer on it and we are actually going to install the GPS (GPS 1500 on WAAS) on the planter itself back by the row units on a bracket we made. Ag leader says it recommends that if you have hills then don't go to 60 inch sections, but by going to 8 sections of three it will make the install actually easier. Just wondering if anyone has had any experience with this. Just trying to decide if I should stay the course with the 80 inch sections or try to go to 60 inch sections.
Don't want to have a royal screw up this spring so trying to set it up right.
