Too close to Raleigh, NC | A friend of mine's son rigged up a state surplus traffic counter as a driveway alarm. It is the type that has a rubber? tube stretched across the path and is connected via wires to the chime in the house. Big issue is the wires. If it were me I would use a wireless type with a solar recharger but then that can get $$$ up front. But for $5 and a little wire my friend's setup works well. | |
