Penobsquis, New Brunswick, Canada | we have an employee , hired 4 years ago, that repairs and operates our combine, we have a farm equipment business, custom cutting business and grain/bean growing business. he knew nothing of the proper functioning, adjustment, remedial repair, and preventative maintenance repair of a combine at that time. he is responsible for it's care and operation , under supervision, and he does not handle the major repair work. we only harvest locally and he is expected to get himself to/from the job site. the work schedule for him is maximum 5 days on 2 days off in a straight run. work day length varies from 11 hours and lower. what do you folks pay your combine operators in such a situation ?
