Your right about the Sprinter Ed, I have also heard good things about it and the high mpg. I wonder if the Sprinter's gvw puts it in the same "truck" class as the 3/4 to 1 ton diesel stuff,or would it be in the light duty 1/4-1/2 ton class ?? I suspect the emissions regs for the light duty ones are much more strict then the truck class.
That may have been the problem with the little Jeep diesel suv. A road test in an English car magazine gave it rave reviews for power and economy,yet the US version seems to be a dud.
