Subject: RE: Header attachment improvements

Hagen Brothers farms,Goodrich ND
If you remember the ISO hyd coupler deal of the mid 80's,they looked at everyone's design and decided on the easiest one to adapt to everyone's coupler body,be it retrofit to the old ones and for the new machines. In that case, they decided on the Pioneer design which is smaller than almost anything else and was easiest to adapt to everyone's hyd coupler system.
Why would one universal header adapter not be the same ? Pick the design that is easiest to adapt to everyone's combine and let an independent suppler build them by the thousands, almost certainly cheaper than each company can build their own oddball adapter in house. Like many of them now do with cabs
I see no problem with them all deciding on one unit, after all, even arrogant Deere tossed their old hyd tips and adapted the Pioneer/ISO tip when they saw it was an advantage.
