Haven't run the 200 yet but we have 3 originals or "classics" i think they call them now. I think I would save the grand. The 200's are suppose to be better at higher speeds but at 6-8 mph it shouldn't be a big deal to get it set right to handle those speeds. If you were going 14 mph I might try a 200...its tough to get it set nice at that speed.
