Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | We had a customer with a 250 who hooked the signal wire to the Raven Orange/white directly and the wire labelled ground to the Raven ground. This is not a good idea.
Fortunately for him this didn't do any harm to the unit but the logging was backwards. When the Raven was off, it pulled the signal line down causing the system to log. When the Raven was ON, it forced the signal line to logic High which stopped the logging.
The proper solution is to ALWAYS use a relay when tying into another system. |
