Hagen Brothers farms,Goodrich ND
That bracket where the control cable attaches at the hydro pump ,and moves the control valve may be hanging up. The coil tension spring has a tiny roller thrust bearing between two hardened thrust washers that must be clean and oiled or the control will be sticky/jerky operating. Make sure everything is free ,lubed and set the spring tension just tight enough to hold a speed setting of the hydro joystick.Anything more than the minimum spring tension needed to hold a joystick setting will make the control sticky. Found and cured this problem on my 1480 a few weeks ago.
