Speaking only from experience and making no predictions whatsoever, the news and fundamentals can become very cloudy at some points & particularly in these times with instant communication. There are many elements at play here....and risks. We are all party to bull grain markets which now have beards they are so old....mature I would guess is the correct term...in some cases we are dealing with dis-information with wheels turning behind the scenes....1979 was an exceptional year for me but I also ate a near 7-figure loss on an interest rate sensitive trade because I tried to out think the federal reserve ....when governments collaborate...it is time to be cautious. We have all witnessed "the crowd" throw a lot of money around these past couple of weeks...time to gain some perspective. Crude oil and soybeans may be ideal ownership versus dollars but they are renewable resources & require storage. Trading small numbers at this moment, in my opinion, is some refuge as well as trading a few distant options which permit some position shifting and arbitrage.
