You are right AGtrader. Times are changing. Farmers need to take some lessons from those involved in the subprime mess. If you have a bad contract just say you didn't understand what you were signing. Maybe those of us with bad grain contracts can get the government to bail us out of them or get the grain elevators to write down the number of bushels we have to deliver to them. They won't really lose money. They can just pass cost of this along to the honest farmers they do business with. Maybe several of us farmers could package our stinky contracts together and call them good contracts. We could then sell them to investors. Appears that many do not know what they are buying anymore in the investment business. Even if they do all you got to do is find the right broker, give him a good commission and he will move it.
