The elevator/grain buyers aren't reneging on the contracts they've signed, just not offering new contracts except for basis contracts or at least thats what it sounds like. The game is the same, but the buyers are telling you that you have to provide your own future's price risk protection. We'll just have to learn to do it ourselves, many already do. Farmers can adapt. | |
