NE SD | I believe it. It happened here in 1995?? 96?. It was the local cenex harvest states. The farmer did walk on the contract or I believe they were HTA's. He hauled it to another elevator. I do not know of all the details of it except they settled on .10 cents on the dollar. Ended up being a 550,000 loss for the elevator that yr. Yes this did happen and is a fact and they are very very well to do farmers in the area and were then also. | |
