The HP is needed if you are protecting increased prices above spring price. If your direction bet is lower prices, then do not add the HP and do just RA. Then RA will out do CRC is price declines below $1.50 and $3.00 beans.
If there is doubt about moves out of price limits one need only review the wheat contracts.
