That's about what I'd expect. Francisco Arriaga at UW-Madison did a field day last year where they did the same thing but from a long term rotation and tillage study that's been continued for the last 28 years or so. They compared no-till, conventional, and roto-tilled ground from side by side plots and there was a huge visual difference. Silt loam in this case...
