Subject: RE: TMR mixers

Have a Supreme 500 cf twin screw that was bought new about three
years ago. Mix loads with limited hay for dairy herd but also mix
higher hay loads for other livestock on the farm. Have been very
happy with the performance of the machine and the quality of the
mix. The Supreme mixers are regarded in the area as the "cadillac"
of vertical mixers. It seems to me that the Supreme mixers mix
faster than most, because of the way they are geared. However,
for the same reason, they require ample horsepower. For my twin
screw mixer, it needs at least 120 HP to do a decent job and then
you want to have the mixer running while loading.

If you have any interest, we have a local dealer with a used
Supreme 600 twin screw vertical mixer , here in extreme eastern
Iowa. Don't know the asking price though. If you want more info
please post a request and I'll try to get it to you.
