Subject: GPS Cable length

Wondering if anyone has any experience with changing cable lengths for a GPS. Receiver currently comes with a 15 foot cable but to make everything work like we want we will need a 40 - 50 foot cable and they don't sell one. Know where i can get one made real easy as long as I get the pin diagram. Just wondering if the longer length of cable will affect the performance of the receiver i.e. a 10hz receiver will it slow the speed down and will it screw up the power supply etc.

Any thoughts.

Thanks
