Ontario | I want to make sure that we don't leave strips. Other systems I have run on guidance have usually been set to allow for 6" to 12" overlap so that we don't leave any weed strips in fields. Waas is not accurate to the inch. We do custom work and have found that there is zero tolerance from customers on strips. Because I am using direct command I have 10 boom sections. Each section must be programmed into the insight. Both the width of the section and the distance from centre of machine must be entered into the insight. I could narrow down the outside sections I guess.
The EZ Steer 500 has an overlap feature. The Trimble 170 allows you to set an as guidance width as well as a coverage width. Cultiva also has an overlap feature. | |
