Subject: RE: Combine rear assist wheel motors

I believe that Mud Hog gives the motor's cubic inch size on it's website for different combines. If you could figure out the size of your current rear wheel motors you should be able to figure out the flow you have by using the tire diameter to figure out what rpm the motors are running. I'm not familar with your sprayer but what about swapping a complete Mud Hog axle from a combine to your sprayer? The Mud Hog axles use an electric solinoid valve to turn the 4wd on and off so you could run in 2wd at your current speeds or in 4wd at slightly slower speeds but with more power. You might run into some tire size restrictions using a Mud Hog style axle but you should be able to run a decent sized tire with no problem.
