Subject: RE: EZ-Boom, Boom Pilot, or Rinex

We ordered the BoomPilot almost two weeks ago but it isn't here yet. They said it would be in last week. Hopefully we don't have much more to wait.

It looks like many of them have similar features. We considered the EZ-Boom because it would be integrated with our EZ-Guide+ but sometimes we spray without the EZ-Guide+ and use our Raven lightbar instead and if we did that we would no longer be able to use the EZ-Boom because it only works with the EZ-Guide+ or EZ-Guide 500. All the BoomPilot needs is a GPS unit that outputs a NMEA string.

The Rinex system looked pretty good as well but it seemed like the BoomPilot was just cheaper and would probably do as much especially for a self propelled sprayer as compared to a pull behind type.
