We also installed a unit on a 4955. Yes it can be done by Trimble! We found the larger 4955 to be more stable than the lighter
and shorter 7810. The 4955 system uses a bit more complicated steering control valve and we have experienced much more
heavy steering on the tractor since installation and they have tried several things to fix the issue. Its better now and we
hope to start planting corn with it tomorrow. I'm from SW Georgia by the way! | |
