Subject: Re: autopilot on SPX 3150

North Dakota
We have 10-12 autopilots running on spx3150-4420s from our dealership. Most are running on WAAS and seem to be accurate enough for our users when doing broadacres, WAAS "WILL NOT" do row crops without running over your rows and OmniStar HP is OK with a bit of nudging once in a while in row crops. The only problem we have is they need to be calibrated very carefully for the speed that you will be driving in the field. In soft, muddy conditions, where the tires sink into the ground a foot or more the system will wander around a lot and whip the ends of the booms.

Any of our customers that have EX-Boom really like it and would give up a lot of other accessories before the EZ-Boom. Most are saying 3%-5% savings on chemical but I have no way to prove that. Very easy hookup if you have a raven 440-460 series controller, just plugs in. You take your old controller out and install the EZ-Boom and let the 500 be the monitor.

As far a demo, see if one of your neighbors have an autopilot in a sprayer and take it for a drive.
