| He is talking about the antenna, not the receiver. The receiver is built into the lightbar and are the same for both the 250 and 500. The standard antenna that comes with the EZ-Guide 250 is a patch antenna that is only sub-meter accurate. For $400 you can upgrade to the Ag15 antenna (the same that comes with the EZ-Guide 500) for 6-8" pass to pass accuracy. Well worth the money in my opinion.
