I talked to the previous owner of the combine today and he said they are harvest concaves but they have a lot of acres through them. He said I should get a new set of small wire harvest concaves. He did use the cover plates on the wide wire ones but said he didn't think I'd be happy because in order to clear the white caps you'd crack a lot of wheat. If the concaves weren't so worn out I'd give it a try but it looks like I'll have to get new ones. $ 1500.- ouch
