Kb, please don't run it w/the balance shaft out of time any longer than you have to-it's not good for the bal. shaft bushings & other things in there...Running at the speed w/least vibration is good, but you're risking your whole block. I'd be in favor of buying the whole oil pump, too-cheap insurance when you consider the price of a whole new engine...
