Subject: Re: dennis whats up with your pump

We finally figured it out the other day we we ready to order a new pump when we decided to tear this one apart first, and what we discovered were crawdads stuck in the impeller of the pump and after we pulled the suction screen out of the water there was a hole in the screen that they were getting sucked through, we have now fixed the screen and it is pumping 900 gpm what we think was happening if the pump sat for 2-3 days the fish would basically rot enough that once the pump was started it would through them off the impeller and it would work fine again until more got sucked in there again thank goodness we figured it out because it does not know how to rain up here in North Dakota anymore the dryland corn all looks like onions and the pivots are all running pretty much nonstop so need all the water I can get especially on days like yesterday when it reached 107.
