Tommy, they may be a good tranny but they are not bullet proof. I have seen more than one torn down & they are not cheap to fix. Also, the P.S. tractors have a wet pto which can be costly to rebuild compared to the "dry" pto on the syncrorange tractors. I believe the 4020s-4440s use the same p.s. but am not sure if it's the same as the larger framed 46/4840s
