Saronville NE
I figure 30lbs for corn and bout 32-34 for pellets. When dumped in the feedwagon, scale usually shows that to be bout right.

Corn depends on the test weight .we use a hanging scale for our 4-h calves and it usually weighs between 28-40 lbs and ddgs weigh 28-30 lbs

Have your wife stand on a scale, look at weight, hand her full bucket and check weight again. Let us know how that works out for ya :) PS check weight quick, before eyes are completly swelled shut

I fill mine, a mix of rolled corn and barley, and DDG, about an inch from the rim on top, ands its been consistently around 28 lbs every year.

And the ratio of products changes year to year because of prices and everytime I weigh it comes to 28 lbs

Rudolph, WI
We usually get 29# to 33# in a heaped 5 gallon pail, rolled as it comes out of the Harvestore at about 24% moist. Mostly depends on the test weight of the corn.
