South Central Kansas | It doesn't drift a lot, maybe three or four inches, sometimes less, that's enough to annoy me. Other than running one side to the other, it runs straight down the field.
The row cleaners are offset to lead L-R-L-R all the way across. The seed opener discs are indexed with the leading disk L-R all the way across. I even have the yetter fertilizer disks leading all left on the left side and right on the right side. I have spacers on the lift cylinders like CIH reccomends so the planter runs in the middle of the parallel arms and the tool bar is right about 21 inches off the dround.
I do all no-till planting and this 955 does a great job. My old 6 row 800 seemed to run almost perfect.
I even looked to see if the row marker was causing any sideways pull, doesn't seem to be.
Any ideas would be helpful. | |
