I re read your original post and yes - our coulter combo, especially with a ripple blade, will go through the conditions you describe. In sod that has been killed earlier, as you point out, a row cleaner by itself will do a good job. In sod or recently killed weeds/cornstalks/mess the ripple blade cuts well. The coulter cleans out the row cleaner as the row cleaner cleans the coulter. This is a unique setup. Unfortunately does not fit on the 7000 very well unless you add our Dawn Powerlink with springs setup. It does work nicely on 7200 & later, Kinze 1993 and later, White 6100 and later.
